Since the project's inception, construction has faced numerous challenges due to the complex conditions of the loess gully region, including large cross-section horizontal surrounding rock, horseshoe-shaped tunnel excavation, difficult geological conditions, and numerous safety control points. The project team has consistently adhered to the leadership of the Party in guiding construction, ensuring safety, quality, progress, and environmental protection in a coordinated manner.

By implementing standardized and refined construction management, the project has efficiently met its commitments. In response to tight schedules, heavy workloads, complex geological conditions, and stringent technical standards, the team has optimized construction plans, ensured adequate staffing and resources, and strictly adhered to core construction principles: advanced management, stringent grouting, short excavation, strong support, early closure, and frequent monitoring.

Through regular geological forecasting, precise assessment of geological conditions, and scientific handling of adverse geological sections, the team has maintained a strong focus on safety, conducting regular safety inspections, closed-loop problem rectification, and emergency drills, thus building a robust safety and quality defense line. This has resulted in a safe, reliable, high-quality, and integrity-driven benchmark water conservancy project that benefits the public.
