I plan to visit Sichuan province and then Shaanxi province. Can I complete the final customs check for all my tax-refunded purchases at the airport in Shaanxi when leaving China?

Yes. If you have already received an instant tax refund at designated stores in Sichuan province, you may continue your trip to neighboring regions and do not need to return to Sichuan for departure or customs validation. You have the choice to get an instant tax refund at any of the following eligible ports where you make your purchase—not limited to stores in Sichuan—and then you can have your tax-refunded goods inspected in one final inspection at the customs office at your final point of exit:

•Sichuan province: Chengdu Tianfu International Airport
•Chongqing municipality: Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport
•Shaanxi province: Xi’an Xianyang International Airport
•Yunnan province: Kunming Changshui International Airport and Lijiang Sanyi International Airport
