The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently released the 2025 5G Factory Directory, with three companies in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ) making the list. 

The three companies are Nantong Guoxuan New Energy Technology Co, Jiangsu Shengyi Advanced Materials Co, and Xudong Auto Parts Manufacturing (Nantong) Co. This achievement highlights the effectiveness of NHIZ's ongoing efforts to promote intelligent transformation, digital transition and network connectivity in recent years. 

A 5G factory is an advanced manufacturing facility that leverages new-generation information and communication technologies represented by 5G. It offers new-type industrial internet infrastructure, covering production lines, workshops, and entire factory sites, which allows for extensive connectivity between production units, the deep integration of information technology and operational technology, optimized data utilization, and efficient deployment of innovative applications. 

Moving forward, NHIZ plans to continue advancing initiatives related to intelligent transformation, digital transition, and network connectivity, accelerating the digital transformation of industries and driving the development of new productive forces in the zone.
