What is the validity period of my train ticket?

Fixed journey tickets: If your ticket specifies a particular date and train number, it is typically only valid for that single journey on that specific train. Getting on or off at stations other than your booked start and end points can invalidate the unused part of the ticket. You can find the information about date, time, and departure and arrival stations on your ticket (hard copy or digital).

Through tickets: A through ticket is valid only for the day and the train specified on the ticket, and if you get on or off the train on the way, the ticket becomes invalid for the section not travelled.
