On Aug 9, the 2025 Chinese Dance Conference national grand final officially opened in Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA). The opening ceremony featured a stunning array of performances from teams across China, including Hebei, Liaoning, Guangdong, Hainan, and Shandong. These regional showcases painted a vibrant picture of China's diverse dance culture, embodying a spirit of beauty and harmony.
The competition, running from Aug 9 to 16, will see 3,000 rising stars vie for top honors. With over 100 performances each day, it will feature more than 800 shows in total. The conference also includes a master camp and other activities, providing a comprehensive platform for young dancers to learn and connect.
In addition to the performances, the event is also promoting Qingdao WCNA culture and tourism. The venue features a special exhibition area for local cultural and tourism products, while tourism guides and summer route brochures are distributed to participants and their families. A promotional video showcasing the area's attractions was also played during the opening ceremony.
