ZINOVIA has signed an agreement to establish a state-of-the-art smart seat research and production base in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ).

This ambitious project, with an investment of 500 million yuan ($69.79 million), aims to create a smart seat sensor production facility, a comprehensive seat comfort system manufacturing base, and a research and development center. The facility is slated to begin operations in 2025.

Specializing in the research, development, production, and sales of automotive smart comfort products, ZINOVIA offers a range of advanced products, including automotive seat ventilation, as well as heating, massage, and lumbar support systems. The company serves prominent automotive manufacturers, including BYD, Dongfeng, and Changan.

A WEDZ official commented that the facility will enhance the scale and sophistication of the zone's innovative cockpit core components, boosting the competitiveness of the automotive industry.

The zone is dedicated to providing comprehensive support through policy incentives, resource assurance, and talent acquisition to ensure the project's timely completion and operational effectiveness.
