The Nantong Inspection, Testing and Certification (ITC) Industrial Park Unveiling and Investment Promotion Conference was held in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) on March 18.

The event gathered executives from ‌23 renowned domestic and international ITC institutions‌, alongside representatives from ‌32 leading enterprises‌ within the city's modern industrial ecosystem.

As a knowledge-intensive and technology-driven sector, ITC plays a pivotal role in ‌quality enhancement‌ and ‌industrial transformation‌. Nantong's ITC industry has rapidly evolved with its manufacturing base, establishing a comprehensive service system that encompasses all of the city's specialized sectors.

This new ITC industrial park signifies a major leap forward in Nantong's ability to drive ‌the development of new quality productive forces‌ and optimize regional industrial structures. By 2030, local demand for ITC services in Nantong is projected to reach 10 billion yuan ($1.38 billion)‌, while that of the broader Yangtze River Delta region market is expected to exceed 100 billion yuan‌.

The event also witnessed the signings of several investment agreements involving companies such as ‌SGS‌ (a global ITC leader) and Jiangsu Raise Certification‌ Co.
