The first phase of Yada Green Energy Solution's marine equipment project in the Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone has reached 90 percent completion and is now entering the equipment debugging phase. The facility is expected to begin production next month.

With a total investment of 3 billion yuan ($412.8 million), the project specializes in the design, manufacturing, and installation of marine equipment, offshore engineering equipment, and key supporting systems for marine projects.

Han Fei, technical vice-president of Yada Green Energy Solutions Jiangsu, explained that the company's core advantage is its focus on stainless steel products. The strategic location of Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone has been a key factor in supporting the project. "Our products are large and heavy, requiring sea transportation. Yangkou Port's docks meet the transportation needs, significantly reducing logistics costs and improving delivery efficiency," said Han.

Despite occupying 6.67 hectares, the first phase of the project only requires 60 workers to complete production tasks, largely due to its highly automated production lines. "From cutting and assembling to hydraulic processes, most steps are automated. This enhances production efficiency and ensures high precision and product quality," Han explained.

The project is being developed in three phases. The second phase is scheduled to start this month, with completion expected by the end of July. Once completed, the project will have an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of offshore engineering equipment, generating taxable yearly revenue of 5 billion yuan.
