The dance drama Game of History took to the stage at the China Shanghai International Arts Festival on Oct 5, turning one of ancient China’s most dramatic chapters into a powerful dance experience.
The story follows the legendary struggle between Xiang Yu (232-202 BC) and Liu Bang (256-195 BC), whose rivalry helped shape the birth of the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24). Through eight chess-inspired chapters, breathtaking movement and iconic scenes, the production brings this epic history vividly to life.
