Renowned Chinese violinist Lyu Siqing, the first Asian winner of the Paganini International Violin Competition’s gold medal, will come to Jinan, Shandong province, on Nov 28. Known to generations of Chinese music students for his iconic recording of The Butterfly Lovers, Lyu will perform works by Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms at Shandong Grand Theatre, presenting an evening of German-Austrian classics.
