Meet the dazzling blue Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) court treasure at the Shenyang Palace Museum in Shenyang, Liaoning province.
This blue glass lidded bowl with golden floral motifs was once used in the Qing imperial court. Blown and molded, the vessel features a distinctive fish-basket shape with Persian-inspired curves. Gilded floral patterns adorn the lid and body, while gilt-bronze fittings frame its edges. The transparent blue glass and shimmering gold create a striking balance of opulence and elegance.
