A legendary military family, a daring maid and a rescue mission — Peking Opera Yang Paifeng brings the famed Yang Family legends to life. Set in the Song Dynasty (960-1279), the story follows maid Yang Paifeng as she defeats two warriors and joins the battle to rescue Yang Zongbao, a member of the Yang family. The production was staged at Tianchan Yifu Theatre in Shanghai on Sept 5.
