Two new high schools have opened in Xinwu district, Wuxi, for the 2026 autumn semester, expanding access to high-quality education.
The new campuses — Wuxi No 1 High School Taihu New City Branch and Jiangsu Tianyi High School Xinwu Branch — bring established educational resources and management experience to new parts of the city.
Wuxi No 1 High School Taihu New City Branch covers a total floor area of 136,400 square meters and is designed to accommodate 72 classes and up to 3,600 students.
Its facilities include a digital fabrication center, computer design center, makerspace and an engineering education center, alongside advanced laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology. The school also features dedicated competition laboratories and facilities for university-level preparatory courses.
Meanwhile, Jiangsu Tianyi High School Xinwu Branch in Hongshan subdistrict has a floor area of 117,000 square meters. The campus is also designed for 72 classes and 3,600 students. Its facilities include dedicated artificial intelligence classrooms, digital laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology, an innovation center, an arts center and a multipurpose auditorium with seating for 1,300 people.

The school has also invested heavily in student living facilities. All dormitories feature four-person rooms, each equipped with two separate bathrooms and two shower rooms.
