The economic landscape has seen steady improvement, with enterprises above a designated size in the zone generating an output value of more than 61.62 billion yuan ($9.17 billion) in the first half of the year, marking an increase of 17.69 percent.

Project development is advancing solidly, with agreements on 309 new projects exceeding 100 million yuan signed in the past three years. The zone is prioritizing major projects, innovative and specialized ventures, and smaller high-quality projects, while working to accelerate their development from planning through construction and completion.

The investment environment has also been improved, with a focus on creating a market-oriented and world-class business environment governed by a sound legal framework. This includes planning specialized industrial parks and enhancing service efficiency, achieving a 94 percent satisfaction rate in the business environment.

Looking forward, the zone aims to upgrade traditional industries, foster emerging industries and harness artificial intelligence to strengthen various sectors.
