Xi'an to hold elderly industry expo

The fourth Xi'an International Elderly Industry Expo will be held from Sept 17 to 19.

The expo is a landmark elderly‑care event rooted in Shaanxi province. It serves as a key exhibition window and cooperation platform for western China to connect elderly‑care undertakings and empower the high‑quality development of the silver economy.

Covering an exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, this year's expo features 18 themed exhibition zones spanning the entire elderly industrial chain. It is expected to draw over 500 domestic and foreign enterprises and institutions from South Korea, Australia, and other countries.

For the first time, the expo will open a special green channel for elderly visitors. Volunteers will provide thoughtful services, including guidance and information consultation, to deliver maximum convenience for elderly attendees.

Through diverse forms, such as cultural performances, public‑welfare services, and scenario‑based experiences, the expo aims to promote the spirit of respecting and caring for the elderly. It will further unlock the regional consumption potential of the silver economy and support the coordinated development of the elderly industry.
