A cool getaway in Yangzhou: Luyang Lake Wetland Park

At the height of summer, Luyang Lake Wetland Park in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, is a welcome escape from the heat. 

The lush green scenery of its water forest is in full splendor, with waterways blanketed in a vibrant carpet of duckweed.

Visitors drift through the channels in small boats, paddling gently amid the emerald surroundings and soaking up the beauty of the wetland.
