China-developed C919 opens first international route to Ulaanbaatar

China's domestically developed C919 opened its first international route on Wednesday, linking Beijing with Ulaanbaatar. The inaugural flight landed in the Mongolian capital at 4:58 pm and was welcomed with a water salute.

Operated by Air China, the route is scheduled to run daily. Flight CA723 departs Beijing at 3 pm and arrives in Ulaanbaatar at 5:15 pm, while CA724 departs at 6:30 pm and returns to Beijing at 8:35 pm.
