China Road Cycling League Finals bring top cyclists to Ordos

The 2026 China Road Cycling League Finals concluded on Aug 10 in Ordos, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, after five days of competition.

The women's individual race, the final event of the tournament, covered 137.5 kilometers, starting and finishing at Ordos Cultural Industry Park and passing through the Genghis Khan's Mausoleum tourist area.

Ji Xiaoyuan of the Qinghai team won first place, with Zhang Ning of the Gansu team and Guo Li of the Sichuan team taking second and third place, respectively.

The finals featured four professional events: individual time trial, mixed team time trial, city circuit elimination race, and individual road race. A mass cycling event was held alongside the competition, combining elite racing with public fitness activities.

The races took athletes through courses featuring both grasslands and urban landscapes, offering participants and visitors an opportunity to experience Ordos' distinctive scenery and cultural heritage.

The event also highlighted Ordos' efforts to integrate sports and tourism, supported by comprehensive arrangements for competition management, medical services, transportation, accommodation, and other services.
