The West End original production of Matilda is back in Beijing, opening at the Beijing Performing Arts Centre on Aug 7 for a three-week run of 21 performances. Adapted from Roald Dahl’s beloved novel, the award-winning musical follows a brilliant young girl who uses the power of books, kindness and courage to challenge injustice and inspire those around her. It’s a heartwarming reminder that even the smallest person can make a big difference.
