Young performers bring the colors of Yunnan to Shanghai

Young performers from Lincang, Yunnan province, recently brought their vibrant ethnic culture to Shanghai through the original children’s play The Wonderful Journey of Alando and the “From the Mountains” 2026 Ethnic Culture Talent Showcase. Through lively performances featuring traditional Lahu and Dai dances, the children shared the unique traditions and spirit of their hometowns, bringing a glimpse of the ethnic cultures of southwestern Yunnan to a city stage far from the mountains.
