China (Global) Dairy Data Intelligence Hub launched in Hohhot

The 2026 World Dairy Conference, co-hosted by Yili Group and Mengniu Group, opened in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Aug 1.

At the opening ceremony, the China (Global) Dairy Data Intelligence Hub and the Global Dairy High-Quality Datasets Factory were launched.

The China (Global) Dairy Data Intelligence Hub is an industry-level data intelligence hub built by Yili, drawing on global dairy industry practices, in collaboration with world-leading technology and the autonomous region strong industrial base.

Built around data and AI technologies, with high-quality datasets as its core output, the center integrates data resources, digital platforms, technical standards and talent development into a unified framework. It is committed to breaking down data barriers across the entire dairy value chain – from farming, production, and distribution to consumption – driving the industry's transformation from experience-driven to data-intelligence-driven operations.

The center has built an integrated processing and production platform covering six core modules: data collection, aggregation and integration, cleansing and processing, data annotation, quality assessment, and data operations. This platform has been implemented in smart ranches, innovative R&D, and health services.

Notably, ranch yields have increased by 9.7 percent while management costs have decreased by 11.7 percent. Going forward, the center will provide inclusive services such as standardized dataset subscriptions to small and medium-sized dairy enterprises.
