The hit dance drama Tiangong Kaiwu will return to Hangzhou Grand Theatre in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province from Sept 30 to Oct 1. Inspired by Song Yingxing, the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) scholar behind Tiangong Kaiwu (The Exploitation of the Works of Nature), the production celebrates his lifelong pursuit of knowledge and the ingenuity of ordinary craftspeople. Blending breathtaking choreography with Chinese aesthetics, this acclaimed performance brings one of China's greatest scientific classics vividly to life.
