The China National Silk Museum in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, is presenting the exhibition Gaochang and Kucha on the Silk Road. Through precious artifacts and historical stories from Xinjiang, the show reveals the flourishing trade, cultural exchanges, and close connections between the Central Plain and the Western Regions during the Han (206 BC-AD 220) and Tang (618-907) dynasties.
