As graduation season fades, Zhang Chengbin, a 2026 mechanical engineering master's graduate from Shandong Agricultural University, has made his choice — to stay and build his career in Tai'an. He has signed with Taikai Group, a leading power transmission equipment manufacturer, where he will soon begin his professional journey.

During his job search, Zhang felt the pressure many graduates face. But Tai'an's talent policies gave him confidence. With subsidies for living expenses, rent, and home purchases, he realized the city truly supports young professionals. "These aren't empty promises — they're real benefits that help us settle down," he said.

Taikai Group offers a strong fit for his mechanical engineering background, and Zhang plans to work on the front line, gain hands-on experience, and eventually lead his own projects. Tai'an's growing industrial ecosystem — covering 11 key industries and 5,357 job openings — ensures ample room for growth.

For Zhang, staying in Tai'an is not about settling. It's about finding the right balance between career and quality of life. One hour from his hometown, with family and friends nearby, he said he feels a deep sense of belonging. And the city's transparent, supportive policies make him feel valued and welcomed.

Zhang's story reflects a broader trend: Tai'an is becoming a magnet for young talent, offering not just jobs, but a place to call home.
