Beijing exhibition revisits Ordos bronze culture

During the Shang Dynasty (c.16th century-11th century BC), the Ordos bronze culture emerged on China's northern grasslands.
Now on display at the Grand Canal Museum of Beijing, Ordos-style bronzes are showcased alongside bronzes unearthed in the Beijing region, tracing the rise of this unique bronze style and the cultural exchange between the Central Plain and the northern steppe.
