From June 26 to 28, Beijing's Tianqiao Theatre will present Zhaojun, a breathtaking dance drama inspired by the legendary story of Wang Zhaojun. During the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24), Wang Zhaojun left her homeland to marry a Xiongnu tribe leader, helping foster peace and friendship between different peoples. This moving production celebrates her courage, sacrifice, and lasting legacy.
