Shanxi showcases hydrogen industry development in Beijing

The Shanxi Hydrogen Industry Development Exchange Meeting took place in Beijing on June 23, aiming to showcase Shanxi's latest achievements and unique advantages in the hydrogen energy sector, and promote further industry exchange and collaboration.

Officials from the Shanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology provided insights into the province's hydrogen industry development trends during the meeting. Representatives from Shanxi-based companies shared their strategic layouts and technological achievements in hydrogen energy.

Experts from Tsinghua University's School of Vehicle and Mobility and the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the synergistic development of the coal chemical and hydrogen energy industries, and the commercialization of hydrogen transportation under the dual carbon goals.

Shanxi is a key coal and coke chemical base in China, offering a large-scale, low-cost industrial hydrogen supply. In terms of industrial layout, the province has developed a diverse supply system that integrates both gray and green hydrogen.

Meanwhile, leading enterprises are spearheading the development of a complete industrial chain covering production, storage, transportation, refueling, and end-use applications.

Li Huiyi, president of the Shanxi Provincial Committee of CCPIT, emphasized Shanxi's abundant industrial hydrogen resources, vast market applications, and robust policy support, and warmly invited entrepreneurs to visit Shanxi for further exploration and collaboration.
