The visit is part of the "China in the Eyes of Sinologists · Fujian's Literary Charm" International Publishers Exchange, which was launched on June 18 at the Fujian exhibition area of the 32nd Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF).
The event was organized by the Straits Publishing & Distribution Group, China National Publications Import and Export (Group), the Foreign Affairs Office of Fujian Province, and Fujian Publishing Industry Trading.
Participants include Paula Pampin, editor-in-chief of Argentina's Ediciones Corregidor; Andrei Potlog, director of Ideea Europeana Publishing House; and Turkish sinologist Eyup Saritas.
During the BIBF, the publishers visited the Fujian exhibition area, where they held copyright discussions, experienced traditional woodblock printing, and sampled Fujian tea.
The international publishers and representatives of Fujian publishing houses met at Antai Book City in Fuzhou on June 22 for copyright talks.
