Tradition takes center stage during holiday in Huzhou

Recently in Changxing county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, more than a hundred local residents gathered at Dongyufang Historical and Cultural Block to showcase their zongzi-wrapping skills at a festive village ritual fair.

Far beyond a simple handicraft contest, the immersive event integrates time-honored Duanwu folk customs with stage performances, market stalls, and fun interactive experiences.

Visitors can take part in traditional Chinese role-play activities or craft wormwood bouquets, fully experiencing ancient folk traditions and sensing the vibrant vitality of cultural tourism this holiday season.
