Hohhot promotes cultural tourism in Xiamen

The Hohhot municipal bureau of culture, tourism, radio, film and television brought the charm of the grasslands to Xiamen from June 12 to 13 for a cultural tourism exchange promotion event.

Eight dedicated cultural tourism shuttle routes connect the entire region, providing one-stop access to four distinctive landscapes: grasslands, the Yellow River, canyons, and forests. Meanwhile, three premium themed itineraries have been specially designed for Xiamen visitors – family study tours, youth trend travel, and wellness leisure trips.

This summer, Hohhot will host multiple concerts featuring top-tier artists, with the Strawberry Music Festival making its debut at Chilchit Grassland. The classic live equestrian performance Eternal Horse Ode will run as a regular show, delivering an immersive grassland theatrical experience. Visitors presenting concert tickets will enjoy exclusive discounts at major city attractions and partner restaurants.

Hohhot's average summer temperature is 25C, making it an ideal summer retreat. Hohhot is home to a vibrant artistic atmosphere and distinctive urban landscapes that align perfectly with young travelers' current preferences for city walks and photo-worthy destinations. The city has also introduced cultural tourism support policies covering concert-specific travel subsidies, charter flight incentives, and special rewards for travel agencies bringing in visitors.
