Bama Yao autonomous county launched its first cross-brand trendy toy, VIORA·Bama Bamboo, at the 2026 National Intangible Cultural Heritage Summer Shopping Month in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, on June 12.
The event brings together over 100 ICH workshop leaders, representative inheritors, enterprise representatives and industry experts from across the country.
Bama has partnered with SOFTOPIA, a leading Chinese plush trendy toy brand, and Yiqiu Tang ICH Workshop to launch its new co-branded product.
The item is the second core work of SOFTOPIA's "Great Chinese Trendy Toys" IP program, which debuted in Singapore in 2025 and gained a large young following overseas. Based in Bama's Xinmin Community, Yiqiu Tang ICH Workshop has helped over 100 Zhuang and Yao women gain flexible home-based employment.
Dubbed VIORA Bama Bamboo, the product blends the evergreen bamboo symbol of local longevity culture, national-level ramie weaving craftsmanship, original IP design and classic Yao silver ornament motifs. It marks Bama's first attempt to bring local, distinctive ICH products closer to young consumers.
At the event, Bama invited creative teams, e-commerce platforms and cultural tourism enterprises across the country to collaborate on product development, market expansion and scenario innovation.
The county plans to deepen cooperation with academic institutions and leading brands to develop innovative and youth-oriented ICH creative products in the coming years.
