Nandan scenic areas introduce 'one ticket, unlimited visits for a year' policy

Nandan county of Hechi city in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has introduced a preferential policy for two major tourist attractions, turning regular tickets into annual access passes.

Starting June 8, the scenic areas of Dongtian Jiuhai and Yaowang Tianxia are set to implement the "one ticket, unlimited visits for a year" policy.

The policy encompasses all standard ticket categories, including individual, family, group, and concession tickets, available through both official online and offline channels.

Upon purchase and subsequent facial recognition registration, visitors gain unrestricted entry for a full 365 days from the activation date. It is important to note that the pass is non-transferable and cannot be combined with any other promotional offers.

Dongtian Jiuhai, a 4A-rated national tourist site, is renowned as the world's largest natural wine cellar, certified by Guinness World Records. It features a unique karst cave environment with a constant temperature of 16 to 17 degrees centigrade and 80 to 95 percent humidity.

Yaowang Tianxia showcases the rich culture of the Baiku Yao ethnicity people, offering over 30 intangible cultural heritage elements and live performances.

Zhang Chao, general manager of Guangxi Danquan Tourism Investment, said that this policy aims to enhance visitor experience, increase return visits, and unlock the full value of local resources by eliminating the need for costly annual passes.
