B2B Sino-Danish Conference on Sustainable Dairy Production held in Hohhot

The B2B Sino-Danish Conference on Sustainable Dairy Production was held in Hohhot on May 26.

It was hosted by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in China and co-organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the foreign affairs office of Hohhot municipal people's government, and the Hohhot municipal agriculture and animal husbandry bureau.

Katja Majbom Goodhew, minister counsellor of the Denmark Embassy in China, led representatives from five leading Danish dairy and food technology enterprises to visit Hohhot. They engaged in in-depth exchanges with nearly 20 leading enterprises along Hohhot's dairy industrial chain, focusing on green product processing, intelligent inspection technology, and dairy flavor innovation, to discuss the green and sustainable development of Sino-Danish dairy cooperation.

Mathias Sandholt Knauf, senior advisor of the Danish Agriculture and Food Council, explained the development of Denmark's dairy industry. Five Danish companies, including FOSS, GEA, and Arla, showcased their cutting-edge technologies in online analytical testing, dairy processing equipment, and functional dairy ingredients.

Representatives from Chinese enterprises, including Yili and Mengniu, delivered speeches, showcasing Hohhot's innovative practices in the dairy industry in areas such as intelligent manufacturing, breeding of superior varieties, and ecological restoration.

The Danish delegation will also conduct field visits to select dairy enterprises in Hohhot to promote the prompt implementation of pilot projects.
