The delegation then traveled to Xiatanwei Mangrove Park to inspect its ecological restoration. Following two phases of targeted projects, the park now features 85 hectares of planted mangrove forests, making it the largest artificially reconstructed mangrove forest in Fujian. It serves as a green buffer zone that helps mitigate marine disasters such as typhoons and storm surges.
