Stephen Jackson, secretary-general of the United Nations in China, presented readings in both English and Chinese, including Irish poet W.B. Yeats' The Song of Wandering Aengus and Tang Dynasty (618-907) poet Du Fu's Strolling Alone Among Flowers by the Riverside.
Other performances included a reinterpretation of the ancient Chinese poem Hou Ren Xi Yi by Wang Yabin and composer Wang Chenxu, as well as a bilingual recitation of Radici in Italian and Chinese by Italian Ambassador to China Massimo Ambrosetti and host Andy Chen.
