The ceremony for the Yili Healthy Valley Industrial Cluster projects was held on May 14 in Hohhot.
At the ceremony, two core projects were launched: the "demonstration project for upgrading, innovation, and digital-intelligent industrialization of multi-functional nutritional products for special medical purposes" and the "demonstration project for the deep processing of colostrum and the integrated development of the nutritional health industry", with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan ($360 million).

These projects are the first industrial projects to commence construction in the Hohhot section since the Inner Mongolia autonomous region was approved for the Inner Mongolia Free Trade Pilot Zone.
The Yili "demonstration project for the deep processing of colostrum and the integrated development of the nutritional health industry" underwent a highly efficient approval process, taking only 24 working days from land listing to the completion of all certificates and licenses.

The "demonstration project for upgrading, innovation, and digital-intelligent industrialization of multi-functional nutritional products for special medical purposes" focuses on the medical and nutritional needs of special populations, such as pregnant women, leveraging the scientific research advantages of the National Center of Technology Innovation for Dairy to build full-category production capabilities ranging from basic nutrition to clinical nutrition.
The "demonstration project for the deep processing of colostrum and the integrated development of the nutritional health industry" is designed to address the supply gap for high-quality dairy raw materials. It is set to become the world's only integrated full-chain project in the industry, distinguished by its largest scale, leading-edge technology, and most comprehensive product portfolio.
