Zhongshan manufacturing takes center stage in Guangzhou

A total of 108 enterprises from Zhongshan, South China's Guangdong province, brought over 1,000 premium products to a popular commercial area in the provincial capital city of Guangzhou on May 10-11 for a special promotional event.

Their product range covered smart home appliances, consumer electronics, lighting, health and medicine, apparel, daily chemicals, and specialty foods.

Previously held in Shanghai, Shenzhen in Guangdong province, Macao, Beijing, Jinan in Shandong province, and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, the roadshow made its Guangzhou debut on the city's Beijing Road to broaden market access for "Zhongshan Manufacturing".

Highlights include a smart manufacturing zone, which features more than 400 items from Zhongshan's 61 intelligent manufacturing companies, showcasing the city's industrial clusters.

Meanwhile, food and cultural tourism zones offered regional delicacies and cultural experiences, drawing large crowds.

The event integrated investment promotion, talent recruitment and intangible cultural heritage displays.
