A delegation from Assumption University of Thailand led by vice president Kitikorn Dowpiset visited Hechi University in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on April 27 to explore educational cooperation, marking the first in-depth exchange between the two institutions.
Qin Yongling, vice president of Hechi University, welcomed the delegation and outlined the university's history and international education achievements. He expressed hope that the visit would lead to practical collaboration in student and faculty exchanges, joint training programs, the sharing of teaching resources and cross-border academic seminars, with both sides working toward the signing of a cooperation memorandum soon.
Dowpiset praised Hechi University's achievements in talent cultivation and cultural preservation, and expressed eagerness to establish a long-term partnership to jointly nurture globally minded professionals.

The delegation toured the university's sericulture exhibition hall, museum of local culture, and student graduation works exhibition. An international education exchange session was also held, where Thai representatives introduced study programs and scholarship policies to Hechi students.
