Officials and industry representatives highlighted the complementarity between the two regions. Shenzhen offers advanced technology and market channels, while Guyuan provides high-quality agricultural products and ecological resources.
In recent years, Guyuan's agricultural specialties have steadily entered the Shenzhen market, becoming a growing presence on dining tables across the Greater Bay Area, according to organizers.
Yu Lu, vice-chairwoman of the China Chamber of Commerce of I/E of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-products, said efforts would continue to support Guyuan in expanding into domestic and international markets, with a focus on meeting global export standards.
