Guizhou's ancient glacial kamenitzas offer otherworldly views

These aerial photos show a field of kamenitzas in Anlong county, Guizhou province, that has an almost otherworldly appearance.

Carved by glacial meltwater, these kamenitzas, also known as giant's kettles, are typically narrow at the top and wider at the bottom, offering evidence of ancient glacial activity.

Largely untouched and preserved in its natural state, the site is ringed by deep blue water and has become a popular destination for hikers and geology enthusiasts.
