The opening ceremony of the 2026 Guangxi Sanyuesan Festival kicked off Saturday in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, staging a folk feast integrating technology and culture that brings immersive new vitality to the traditional ethnic festival.

Sanyuesan, the third day of the third month on the Chinese calendar, is a traditional festival for the Zhuang ethnic group of Guangxi.

This year's event highlights trendy tech experiences, ASEAN cultural integration and Guangxi's unique charm.
