A press conference hosted by the Information Office of the Guilin Municipal People's Government on the morning of April 8 saw the announcement of an upcoming industry fair focusing on root carving, rare stone and calligraphy.

Huang Zhaojun, member of the Standing Committee and director of the United Front Work Department of Xiangshan district, attended the press conference. He elaborated on the preparation being made for the fair, specific activity arrangements, and the district's related industrial development achievements.
The fair is scheduled to run from April 16 to 20 in Wayao town of Xiangshan district. Aligned with Guilin's drive to build itself into a world-class tourist city, it will serve as a comprehensive platform integrating investment promotion, trade negotiations, premium product displays and cultural exchange.
Three themed exhibition areas will be set up for mineral crystals, root carving and calligraphy, showcasing over 50,000 exquisite works in total. The event is poised to deliver a memorable cultural and artistic experience for locals, tourists and industry enthusiasts alike.
