This Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220) brick captures a breathtaking moment from a circus-like acrobatic show on moving chariots. On the bottom right, a rider raises a flag, leading the way. On the top right, another rider shoots backwards while galloping. On their left, a performer balances on a rope stretched across the chariots by two men, while another hangs upside down from a pole, holding a ball and a performer in each hand.
