The NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra will celebrate its 80th anniversary with two concerts at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center on Oct 28 and 29. Led by Alan Gilbert and joined by violinist Joshua Bell, the orchestra will bridge Hamburg and Shanghai with masterpieces spanning Strauss to Brahms, Saint-Saëns to Dvořák. A rare cultural homecoming not to be missed!
