Nearly 300 precious artifacts – from 3,000-year-old Sumerian bronze foundation nails to the bronze jue vessels of the Xia Dynasty (c.21st century-16th century BC) – are now on view at the Erlitou Site Museum of the Xia Capital in Luoyang, Henan province. This remarkable exhibition explores the early exchanges of metallurgical techniques between the Sumerians and the Xia Dynasty, revisiting a grand chapter of civilizational dialogue across the Eurasian continent.
