NCPA celebrates anniversary with grand festival

The events included screenings of recorded stage productions, concerts by the China Conservatory Traditional Orchestra and Beijing Symphony Orchestra, and performances of xiangsheng (traditional cross-talk) and pingshu (a traditional form of storytelling).
Experts joined in panel talks, including two sessions centered on the theater works written by Nobel Prize in Literature winner Mo Yan and novelist and screenwriter Liu Zhenyun. Mo Yan also held a book signing that day.
