Lin Fengmian (1900-1991) and Wu Guanzhong (1919-2010) were pivotal figures in the transformation of Chinese painting in the 20th century. Both artists studied in France where they learned Western modern artistic ideas, then successfully integrated them into Chinese painting education and practice. Come experience their artistic styles at the ongoing exhibition held at the Tsinghua University Art Museum in Beijing!
