The Ingenious Craftsmanship—Stone Carvings of Quyang exhibition has opened at the National Museum of China in Beijing. Featuring 48 ancient masterpieces and 91 contemporary works by Quyang artisans, the display highlights the rich heritage, exquisite craftsmanship and original artistry of Quyang stone sculptures.
Quyang county in Baoding, Hebei province, is known as the “Hometown of Sculpture” in China, and is celebrated for exquisite white marble sculptures.
