Since the 1980s, Shandong’s oil painting has been rooted in local culture, delving into everyday life and realities. Today, the Shandong Art Museum launched a documentary research exhibition on Shandong folk customs in oil paintings. The exhibition showcases outstanding works from three distinct periods: the 1980s, the turn of the 21st century and the 2010s. Each piece beautifully captures the essence of Shandong’s rich local traditions and unique way of life. Check it out!
