The dance Thunders Shake the Mountains and Rivers tells the touching story of warriors and a white-haired army that defended the country for 40 years during the Tang Dynasty (618-907). The dance incorporates elements from the "Twelve-tone Thunder God Drums” that was found in Cave 285 of the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang and it highlight’s the Chinese courageous spirit.
